What is this all about?
My name is Cyndy and I live near the beaches in Adelaide, South Australia. And I am vegetarian!
My blog was originally about the food I loved to cook and share with family and friends and the stories behind it. But in 2018, my life changed after I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. I stopped blogging and went into hibernation. For almost 2 years I have battled Radiotherapy and many rounds of chemo and other quite exhausting procedures. It has taken a long time to start to feel that I may conquer this - then I found a spot in my lung.
I'm still here - i'm trying to get as fit and healthy as I can to keep fighting this awful cancer.
For the last couple of months I've felt the urge to start writing again. I'm not sure how often I will be able to do this because I am still in the recovery process - plus I really am unsure how my diet is going to impact on my health. Plus I'm quite exhausted a lot of the time.
Firstly, I need to lose a few kilos and that has to be my prime focus. I am going back to Intermittent Fasting because that has been successful in the past.You can find out more about this at thefastdiet.co.uk
